three month tank update on the 120gal high tech!

Things are growing well and I just wanted to post an update and show where things started.

This is a 120 gallon with CO2, 4lamp 48" HO/T5 and two 75 watt CFLs. I also supplement Flourish, Flourish Excell, potassium, phosphate, and iron as well as root tabs.

Tank has a large canister filter, to HOB filters, and the substrate is white sand.

Im also running 2 UV sterilizers after a nasty green water problem.

First pic is when I started my new scape on March 28th

Second Pic is from May 2.

Last Picture is from Sept 3.

Bump: After removing the cabomba and anacharis (too messy). Removed one of the rocks, and added some bacopa and talenthera cardinalis.

Thanks everyone... yes CO2 has been key, but also the ferts. I have had my share of failures but ultimately the fish have been healthy and happy. Its funny some of the easiest to grow plants have proved difficult to cultivate in my tank such as Val, Anacharis, and banana plant. Alas, I guess every tank is unique.
