Adding Rocks To Tank, (natural rocks)

so I have this rock I like that I wanted to add to the tank, its a rock that's almost perfectly a sphere, no its not limestone or anything. I bleached it scrubbed it washed it etc so now what, add it?

Go for it! sounds like you have covered the main points. One small item? Don't miss lowering the water first!

I have to lower the water? didn't know... so like when I put the rock in I lower the water lvl?

Depends on the size of the rock, and the size of the tank. A big rock will displace an equal amount of water.

the rocks about the size of your hand, and the tank is 5.5G

What I was getting at is that when you stick the rock in it will displace water so if the tank if near full, you can get the rock half way in and find water running over the top. Just messy if you don't lower the water first and get half way there and have to pull a wet slippery rock out. Your size rock may not run it over, I have a bad habit of doing big rocks.

If it's a small sized rock , just remove a couple cups of water before you put it in. Then top off after you get it in place.
