Intriguing piece of wood

I had this up in the sales thread

Then I took another look at it and was pretty amazed. This hasn't been altered or anything:

Hi HoC,

Hmmm, it sort of reminds me of the island of Papua, home of many Rainbowfish species.....maybe an omen that you should set up a Rainbowfish species tank!

@Nlewis

Yes, I think I will. No one bought it for $14 so the price just went up?

@Seattle_Aquarist

Oh this just gets more intriguing! I could setup the tank and use it as the centerpiece. The head really blew me away, because of the opening for the eye and the shape.

With that dragon look, I think you need to do an homage to Chinese folklore and set up a tank with white cloud minnows.

We once visited a small shop in Windhoek, Namibia. They had a collection of sculptures made from driftwood.
The artist had an amazing eye for seeing animals hidden in the shape of the wood, and they were all made with minimal cutting and polishing. He just took away all the bits that were not-an-animal.

Hey its past 4 am, i better go back to bed, Have to get the kid off to school in 3 hours.

Cape Town, South Africa.

Hi. I'm back.

Hi HoC,

Now I am envious, you get to set up 3 new tanks!
