I use pothos for years, not the plant immerged, the leaves will rot, but only the roots in the tank. The roots grow to the point where they reach the bottom of the tank if i do not trim them regularly.

Michel.

Plants and algae grower.

Leaves are toxic to dogs or cats, otherwise good nitrate soaker upper.

Wondering how you get it to perch there and not be in the way for maintenance and such?

Tank On, Mike-
60g Marineland Community, Finnex Planted+ 24/7, Silica (pool filter) sand.
10g, 29g, & 37g fry grow out tanks, 110g stock tank w/40g sump.

What came first, the chicken or the egg. It was the egg, but not the egg from a chicken.

Roots in tank, pothos grows like a beast! Its more tolerant to getting leaves wet than any other terrestrial plant I've put on the riparium but for best growth, keep leaves above water. It may take a little while to adapt but once it gets started it grows fast!

shots from last month: pothos on my 55g.. i have over 100 feet on it!! I may be near 150 by now (started out as tiny 3" pot with short clippings about 2 1/2 years ago) growing on mounted background and front trim

all over the front tank glass (can't see in!)

climbing up the wall (its hit the ceiling since this shot was taken)

My largest vine is thicker than a thumb, and leaves larger than your hand!

Same tank 7 months before above shots (could still see in front tank glass back then)

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.
