Rubberbands on plants !!!

so im new to the game and i have a 65g tall aga i need help and direction ,i bought 56 dollars worth of plants and some of them are rubber banded together .let me try to make sense , one plant has several stocks rubber banded together do i seprate them or leave them rubber banded ? also should i prep plants and if so how only thing in tank is subtrate plants and my glo t5 2x39w 6700k and a hydro 1

You do not want to leave the rubber bands on the plants. Leaving them on would most likely cause the stems to melt and die.

When planting, you just need to stick them in far enough so they stay without floating off. You can plant them closely together if you wish, but I would not have stems directly next to each other.

In terms of preparation, you don't really need to do much. Some people want to minimize the chance of getting snails in their tank, so they may rinse them in a solution to get ensure none make it into the tank.
