1/4 tsp of iron 3x a week? that's 1.6 ppm of iron + whats already in flourish comprehensive, your likely dosing around 1.7 ppm of iron which is in my opinion way to high. I highly doubt your tank is using that much iron, so keep in mind their will be a buildup, even when you do 50% water changes, your only removing half of whats built up. I would cut the dosing a good bit, you can also minimize the clouding by dosing iron every day in small amounts as opposed to 3 large doses. Another potential issue could be the tanks PH, iron and phosphates will bind at a ph over neutral, and this will cause some clouding.

UV radiation will break the chelating bond between Fe and EDTA, DPTA and easily Fe gluconate. This will cause the Fe to precip out of solution. Don't use a UV sterilizer unless you are trying to correct a specific algae or parasite problem.
