Converting low tech to high tech questions

I would like to convert my low tech 38 gallon planted tank to a high tech tank. I have all low light plants anubias crypts hyrophila and frogbit. I want to convert to high tech just to improve the growth of my plants. I have a pressurized c02 system. I'm using caribsea floramax for a substrate. and I have a finnex planted + 247 light. I'm running the light at half brightness as of now.

When I start running Co2 should I turn the light up to full brightness and get rid of the floating plants? Would brighter light cause algae issues with the anubias since their slow growers?

When I start EI dosing since my plants are considered slow growing low light plants should I EI dose the fully recommended dose for my tank size?

I would recommend keeping your lights at 50% while starting to dose the full EI. Increasing light over a few months will help contain any algae outbreak. You can adjust both dosing and lighting based on how your plants react
