Pressurized CO2 systems?

Are there any complete pressurized CO2 systems that are around $150? Its going to be for a 30 gallon or 40 gallon tank. Tank will be heavily planted. Thanks in advance!

If you got an azoo regulator plus 10 lbs tank it should be around that price i guess.

Not bad. Got a link to that store? I looked around and was able to find tiny CO2 systems for $150+ that use paintball canisters, anything bigger was way higher than $200.

cylinder- try craiglist first

http://www.aquariumplants.com/Alumin..._Tanks_p/t.htm

call around to see if they swap your cylinder when you get a refill or if you just keeps yours. If they swap then just get yourself a used crappy one off ebay.

I'm not the expert or even giving advice but Coral Keeper asked for "complete pressurized CO2 systems". Are we advising him on the whole system?

There are a ton of threads on this here, but if your looking for a complete budget co2 system here you go:

Easy Peasy solution to Pressurized Co2 on a Budget:

Milwaukee or Azoo Regulator ~$75-$85
Cylinder 5 or 10lb ~$60
Ceramic Diffuser ~$10
Airline/co2 tubing ~$3
Check valve ~$2

That's a grand total of $160. Just fill the cylinder $10-$20 and your good to go. Follow regulator directions.

I bought this one for $100 on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Milwaukee-Inst...4872268&sr=8-2

Comes with regulator, solenoid, bubble counter, and tubing.

I bought a used 10lb tank locally (from someone on Craigs List) for $20. I run the tubing into my power head, based on advice from somone on this forum, and it diffuses quite well.

I would also recommend an inline reactor (DIY or not)...
I personally have the Aqua-Medic Co2 Reactor 1000 (http://www.aquariumplants.com/product_p/am-73011.htm) and have absolutely no complaints!

people say that azoo regulators are better then milwaukee due to needle valve. Only con on the azoo regulator is that it doesnt have a bubble counter.

I thought they came with the same needle valve? I do not have Milwaukee anymore to confirm this. Does anyone have a Milwaukee and Azoo that can check this out?
