Well how heavily is the tank planted? If there's a lot of plants they should be able to supply adequate o2.. At night you could add some surface agitation and kill 2 birds with one stone (surface scum and aeration).

I really don't think an airstone is necessary in a med-heavy planted tank.

In a planted tank you don't need to add O2, this will only cause you to lose more co2 that the plants need to grow, you only need to worry when your fish start gasping at the surface. If that happens you could add a bubbler at night or add an extra powerhead/spraybar. Good luck.

You will not need an airstone, especially if you are injecting CO2. This is because the airstone will cause the CO2 to diffuser off faster than you can inject it (unless you step up the CO2 injection rate, but then you are wasting gas unnecessarily).

Also, a fine point, but one worth noting; an airstone does not add oxygen to the tank directly. It provides increased surface agitation, which increases the available surface area for gas exchange to occur. As such, oxygen from the atmosphere will diffuse into the water at a greater rate.
