If money wasn't an issue, I might want this one: http://www.greenleafaquariums.com/co2-regulators.html -the one for paintball

Take a look at the one for nano's, seems really cool but I have no idea how long those c02 cartridges would last and could be expensive to keep refilling.

You should really try to find a way to use a full size CO2 bottle. It is going to cost you way more money (and time) to deal with paintball tank refills. At the very least I suggest that you invest in a standard CO2 regulator and get an adapter so that you can use it on a paintball tank. That would give you the option to replace the paintball cylinder with a standard size cylinder (without needing to buy a new regulator too) if your situation changes in the future. The paintball specific regulator from GLA is almost the same price as the standard one.

There was a thread recently about the Azoo regulator. I think most people agreed it was a decent regulator, but the stock needle valve that came with it was not the best, and many people warranted it required replacement.

No that doesn't come with everything you would need. There are some kit's out there that are reasonably priced but you just end up replacing some of the inferior pieces. You could try the Red Sea kit that is made for Paintball tanks but I suggest doing some more research and asking around.

You need: Regulator, CO2 indicator w/solution, CO2 Tank, solenoid, diffuser, and a needle valve.... I think that would cover it.

Now would this adapter work with a normal regulator so I can use a paintball tank?

Add a check valve to the list and most likely you will want to use a bubble counter until you get a feel for dialing in your CO2 rate.

below is a link to a great primer about CO2, shows you all the various components, tells you what they do and also lets you know which ones are necessary and which are optional.
