I need opinions...Should I change my background??

Hi all,

I need help deciding whether to change my background. I have liked my current black background in the past. However I have now hung my light over the tank vs right on top. I have also added a planted HOB and floating plants. My problem??? Now it seems too dark. Should I change it to white like my other tank (pictures below) to help with the brightness of the tank? If you think not any suggestions to make it a bit lighter???

Thanks,

Joy

I'm a fan of lighter backgrounds, but do what works for you.

Backlight them with the super cheap Ebay RGB LED stings! Cheap, really nice affect...pick whatever color you want, anytime you want!

White should boost the light levels in the tank too.

Me think's white or grey.
Getting ready to tear down an 80 gal that's been running about two year's to replace the soil and repaint the background from brown to white, sky blue,or grey.
Lot's of different shades of white so I am unsure yet.
Still trying to source all my hardscape wood/rocks.
Thanks for posting the photo of the tank with white backdrop.
