Air Stone

Is it true that if you run a pressurized CO2 and high light you should run some air stones for the fish??????

Maybe at night. If you run it durning the day the air stone will cause you out gas Co2 faster.

No, not at all. Turning CO2 off at night would be much better if you are concerned about the levels.

I've read that running an airstone at night helps the fish, plus it keeps your water clearer. I'm not sure of the science surrounding this. Perhaps one of our expert members can elaborate.

Running an airstone will have no effect on water clarity.... where did you read this?

It will raise the dissolved O2 content somewhat, but unless your fish are gasping
at the surface your 02 level is probably fine already.
