After a month...

Standard 75g tank... I was curious what my parameters were after my first solid week of EI dosing. Mil age may vary as these are just uncalibrated API numbers... 8ppm NO3 and about 1ppm PO4... really hard to tell with these shades of colors.

My dosing is done daily, I mix up 2 weeks worth of the following:

CSM+B Daily PPM 3.02 0.49 3.69 0.71

0.12 Daily Grams 1.4 0.2 1 2

The tank is about 7 KH, my tap water is around 20 GH, I mix 75% RO with 25% tap now.

CO2 is high, I can't count the bubbles... my drop checker is opposite the return from the CO2 reactor, and reads the proper light green color using a 4gh reference solution made with baking soda and the directions found online for reference solution.

Lighting is 4x 54w T5HO bulbs, about 4" off the surface of the water.

Since I started dosing with PO4 (about a week now) a lot of the algae has died back, all except the staghorn really. The guppys and SAE's graze it a little, but its slowly and steadily growing in my HC and hardscape.

I tried to shoot some Excel into a patch of HC but it didn't seem to help any. I've taken to dosing 2 caps a day along with my other ferts in hopes of beating back the Staghorn.

Most plants growing well... I finally have a new leaf on my Anub. Nana. I'm not sure my new Red Nesea has grown at all, if it has the new growth looks stunted. Amazon swords are showing dark green veins, suggesting a Mg def?

Glad things are working out for you.

yeah, It try to lower your RO water so you'd get more Mg & Ca.
