Eheim 2217 & 2 turtles - help!

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 decently sized red eared sliders turtles. I have an eheim 2217 canister filter running on it. I purchased it 5 months ago and it was running great and the water was crystal clear until about a month ago. I bought all new filters for it (blue, white and carbon filter) and cleaned out the entire pump. Once I cleaned the tank and pump, I noticed the new clean water was getting cloudy and dirty just 2 days later. I know turtles are very filthy creatures but I know the water should be clear like it use to be and I don't know what to do. Help!

I've not kept turtles.. but a lot of people recommend Sechem Purigen for water clarity. Helps with particles, tannins and the like.

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.

Is that like a liquid purifier you put in the water?

How does this work with a canister filter? I looked it up, would I have to remove the carbon filter pad and replace it with the Sechem Purigen in a mesh bag? I'm still new to a lot of this.

Purigen is generally used as a carbon replacement. It lasts longer than carbon and is rechargeable. Most people keep 2 bags per filter. One to use and the other to recharge during that time.
