What do I do about the Bubbles?

Lately I've noticed that my tank has become somewhat cloudy. I suspected a bacterial bloom, but after closer inspection, found that the "cloud" was just millions of tiny bubbles.

These bubbles are clearly not coming from my plants, those are larger and very noticeable. I assume they are coming from my cannister filter with inline difuser. Now I have never had this problem before and for the life of me cannot figure out what I did differently to cause these bubbles.

I am thinking there is air getting in somewhere, but I have no idea where and the cannister is relatively quiet, no air going through the impellar that I can tell.

Any ideas where to problem shoot?

Try tilting your canister from side to side and see if you have any air trapped inside. I have had this happen before

No..this can go on for days after a water change and I've tried the tipping canister trick. This has been going on for about a month.

Are you sure the "cloud" is coming from your canister? How long have you been using the diffuser? Could the cloudy water be iron precipitation? Are you dosing any additional iron or CSM+B since this started happening?
