Need opinions on a plant to go with...

OK, I have this one big yet georgeous green terror in a bare-bottomed tank with just floating annubias. Would he uproot anything I planted if I tried? It would be a lo-teck, lowish light tank if I tried it. The tank is a custom 24" cube of around 55 gals. What, if anything would you guys plant with this ~8" fish?

Yea, I thought that's what I would hear. I guess I'll stay with floaters only like red roots & frogbit.

Would he tear the anubias off if you could get it rooted on to some driftwood?

Actually I was hoping for something that grows tall, doesn't require much light and that the big fish wouldn't tear-up...

I guess I should know better

duckweed for floater, a big piece of dramatic driftwood with the anubias on it and You'd be lookin good. Also might be a good time to think about a riparium. You can get some really good ideas for that on this forum
