walmart tetra 3 gallon

anyone have any experience with these? they went on sale at my wally world for $20. i figured even if the lighting needs upgrading the tank itself is worth the $20. thanks

I have the Meijer (it's like Walmart) version. If it's like the one I have, it has one incandescent light bulb in it. I just fit a 15w CFL spiral into it, and I think that should do the trick. I plan on putting some low lights plants in it, with a betta and a couple grass shrimp.

this one comes with a led lite! dont know the wattage or anything though. it also comes with one of those stupid tetra in tank filters, that wil be coming out!

That kit at our Walmart has a 9 LED black light to show off Glo Zebra Danios.

still not the same one this is a normal led lite, the glow one is next to it, thanks

I have one of those tanks. The light that it came with is enough to grow anubias, hornwort, guppy grass, and anacharis.
