There was a thread here from last year about a guy here in the USA who ordered moss from an Ebay store, it was confiscated in US customs, and he got a letter from the US dept of homeland security that he has now been placed on a watch list for attempted smuggling. It now prevents him from getting a passport, delays him from boarding a plane and he also got a warning that if it happened again he could face prosecution, fines and or jail time. Smuggling is serious buisness and should not be taken lightly. This case got the ebay store dropped as a sponsor from several web sites.
It amazes me when people say I have bought from them and never got caught so that makes it ok.
Does anybody have the link to that thread? It caused a huge public reaction on several forums. There was talk of law suits against the forum where this malaysian ebay store was a sponsor and all sorts of backlash. Basically this guy was made a victim just by buying 10 dollars worth of moss amd treated like a terrorist. Pretty serious stuff.
