I just have Red Wendtii now, but I'd love to give them a shot sometime.

HEY! It's a Crypt! How can you not love it!?!

C. undulata is a great plant. Nice color and a neat, upright growth pattern. The "ruffled" edges of it's leaves also adds to the plants appeal. I have some growing in my 15G. It is very shaded right now. I need to thin out some of the floaters.

Crypt undulata? LOVE IT!!

Mike

Maybe I should try this plant instead of the balansae I've tried in the past. It kept growing flat along the substrate and was practically useless because of it.

Robert

C. undulata is smaller than C balansae, so interchanging the two would be tough. the color is off a bit also, C. undulata is a bronzey color and most C. balansae are green.

The low lying Crypt you are describing sounds more like C. wendtii "Tropica" than C. undulata.
