You'll need to provide info on: lighting, filtration, substrate, CO2, budget, etc.

A 10-G aquarium is ~$10--there's a lot more to it!

I suggest that you do a bit more planning, since the possibilites are astounding. At the very least, have a budget set aside (setting up a 10-gallon can cost next to nothing, or work itself up into the hundreds) and what you're trying to accomplish with the tank.

If you mean that you have no limit to what you can spend then first head over to www.ahsupply.com and get a 36 watt kit, bulb and enclosure. Then get a bag of Eco-Complete and start from there. As far as plants go I really feel the selection of plants is somewhat limited due to the smaller size of the 10 gallon tank. Most stem plants will blast from substrate to water surface in a couple of days in a well maintained 10 gallon tank. So stick with Anubias, smaller Crypts. In fact if you want a nice effect a good ground cover for a 10 gallon would be a bunch of Crypt parva. And then maybe some larger crypts for the background and a nice piece of wood with some Anubias nana petite on it would just about do it.

As for fish Endler's livebearers or Threadfin Rainbows are two that come to mind. Or some of the smaller Blue eyes. I think a school of smaller fish is much better than a couple of larger fish. But if you want something a bit larger with more personality then a pair of Rams or smaller Apistos.

yea i was thinking of rams be cause i got 2 german rams and a badis in my 5 gallon and when they get bigger im going to pu them in the 10 gallon they were just hatched a month ago i picked the 2 rams and the badis for only 10 dollars and the rams are doing great but im concerned about the badis because its not eating the live blood worms and not eating the freeze dried blood worms.
