Revised Setup

Okay, for a billionth time this week I revised my plans for the 30-gal tank like this:
Dwarf hairgrass
Glossostigma
Pygmy chain swordplant
Rotala rotundifolia
Alternanthera reineckii
Ludwigia repens
Hygrophila polysperma
Dwarf sagittaria
Limnophila sessiflora
Hetero. zosterfolia
Red tiger lotus
Bacopa caroliniana
Anubias barteri var. nanas

And here are the plants I MIGHT be including:
Myriophyllum aquaticum
Cryptocoryne x willisii

As some of you can see, I've reduced (a little) the amount of plants I'll be keeping in the tank. I was considering elodea densa and ammania gracilis, but the elodea would give the tank a bit of a "ruffled" look cuz of the bendy stems and all, and the ammania might be too hard to grow and I can't find a good enough location for it. I have perfect spots for the plants mentioned in the list so the colors and leaf styles would "counter" each other.
So, what do you guys think of my idea? Thanks!

I think you are going to be on one great adventure

I'm very impressed with the thoughfullness & time you have dedicated to this project. A good plan is a great start, with the type of research you have done with plant selection, I have little doubt that your equipment selection will be nothing short of handling it, and then some. I'm quite certain that you will have great success with this tank... but remember that first and formost you will need a lot of fast growing stem plants to outcompete the algae with the new tank.. and that much of the planned additions will need to occur after the tank settles in.

This will be one awesome tank . Very much looking forward to the journal I'm sure you will be doing in the photo section.

Best of luck

Thanks for the suggestions guys, can't wait till I post some pics of the tank this December (for birthday present, I figured why not start the plan early like with my other tanks?)...
