Pruning a ludwegia repens...

The tops of my ludwegia (sp?) are very red and I was wondering, can I cut the tops of them and plant them in my smaller tank or do I have to root them first. Anyone?? Thanks alot Smaller tank has stronger light and they would stay red in there I hope...

You can just cut the tops and replant them in another aquarium, Fishlady. There is no need to try and reroot them.

It is as easy as that (for a change )!
