Java moss question...

How do I get my Java moss to look like this? I just roll mine up into little balls but they get really unruly after a week or so and just float around the tank.

?Can't see the picture. But I can guess your talking about "algae" balls, which are not made by java moss. Right?

No, I'm not talking about Marimo balls.. the pic should be working now(?)

It's a picture of Java moss but it looks very neat and controlled.

To get the picture to work you are going to have to right click, select properties then copy and paste the link into your browser. It should work just fine then.

As for the java moss, sorry M3thod, can't answer that one.

Kyle

Pictures are moments in time, taken out of the great process of constant development...
Imagine haircut day for Javamoss, and now it looks like some mophead. Two weeks later, it's photo day! Some great-natural-looking controlled growth of Javamoss. Two more weeks pass, and the rock is hardly visible anymore, Javamoss strings reaching in all directions: time for another haircut!

You start by placing bits of Javamoss onto the rock or wood with string or even a hair net. A little patience, and it attaches itself to the surface and won't float around anymore. Then the haircut/photo day cycle starts.
