Will this stock work? Aqadvisor?

Stocking for 20 gallon long low tech

8 or 10 Harlequin rasboras
6 albino cory
2 nerite snails
1 otocinclus cat
1 King betta

I'm running 2 aqueon quiteflow 20's
According to Aqadvisor with 8 rasboras I'm at about 75% stocked with 10 im at 80%. Is this an acceptable stocking level? Either way my filtration capacity is adequate. I would plan on doing 25% PWC per week with this stock.

Looks good to me.

Let the NO3 test guide the minimum water change- if the plants do not remove all the NO3, then do enough water changes (frequency and volume) to keep it under 20 ppm.

If the plants keep the NO3 lower, then 25% weekly is plenty to give you water to clean the filter, and enough time to vacuum where you can, pick up whatever debris is stuck in a corner. Or do some trimming and clean up the bits.

Thank you. I worry that 80% stock would be overcrowding for my fish and bad for my water quality. Aqadvisor recommends keeping it under 100% I guess I'll try it out and see how it goes!

I may be wrong, but I think corys need a bigger tank. I think I saw that 20 gallons would be suitable for 6 dwarf corys though. Something to look into.

This isn't rocket surgery
