stump remover and angel fry-

Hi Guys: I have a 30 gallon planted tank with angel fry in it and I was wondering if adding the stump remover for nitrates like I do in the 90 gallon would be harmful to the fry???(approx. the size of a nickel) Thanks-

How old are the fry?

From my experience, angelfish fry are pretty sensitive to their environment which is why during their early growth phase you should change the water out to keep the quality high.

Adding too much stump remover may cause defects in the development of the fry, so based on how old they are, I would either wait longer or go with a lower dose than you planned on using.

Just watch your nitrates level to make sure that they're not sky high and you should be fine. They're sensitive to nitrate levels, so if you do plan do dose, do it sparingly (if you're doing it weekly, switch over to do it more often, but at lower dosages).
