Finally Doing Things Right

After how many years of aquariums I always never had one thing. PATIENCE! After tearing my tank down about 2 months ago. I got back in the habbit but decided to do things right. Heres what my setup is:

10 Gallon Tank
2.5" Eco-Complete/Natural Gravel Mix
36 Watt Power Compact Lighting
50 Watt Tronic Heater
AquaClear Mini
Hagen Natural CO2 System

I decided to go with RO water from my LFS. (Aquatic Warehouse in Southern Cali San Diego) I just have a nice center peice of driftwood in the middle because I decided to add the plants in after the 4 weeks of cycling. I just bought 3 Danio's (Holy crap those are aggressive fish) to cycle the tank with and adding NitroMax Supp to speed up the cycling process. All in all it should tank about 3-4 weeks of waiting! I have my lights on timer from 11-11 and my water temp at a steady 75.

As far as CO2 mixture goes I was planning on using that mixture that I read in the forums for a small tank. Ive been told to go with 2l bottles but I think that since I already have the canister from hagen might as well use it!

Does anyone have any plant ideas? The only thing that I know I want are som java ferns and some dwarf sag and maybe some micro swords. I also want some of those little foreground plants that spread accross the bottom and look like four leaf clovers..does anyone know what they are called?

Any comments or suggestions on my progress and plans would be greatly appreciated thanks!

You might need to add some tap water to the RO. Straight RO is pretty much devoid of minerals, which is not conducive to most fish and plants. Aside from that, everything else is pretty much spot on.

The four leaf clover plant you want would be Marsilea crenata, which believe it or not is actually a fern.
