I have a Dojo Loach in my planted aquarium, >>>

What do I feed him? Will he nibble on my plants and maybe uproot them? I hope not, maybe if I feed him well he won't bother them Thanks for any suggestions!

I used to feed mine those Hikari sinking wafers for bottom feeders (not the algae wafers for pleco's), one per loach.

IME they leave plants alone but will dig under any driftwood you have and make little burrows that they can stick their noses out of.

Fun fish, worth keeping at least once to see their antics once the barometric pressure drops .

I have had my Dojo for almost a year now. The Amano shrimkp and him are the only survivors of my two mass deaths in my tank over the last year. It seems that he will eat just about anything that I put in there. Flakes, wafers, frozen brine shrimp, frozen blood worms, he eats it all. Not a very bright fish, but fun to watch. I have been told that they can grow pretty big. Mine is almost 6 inches long now, and I want to get a bigger tank so he has room to move. He used to dig up my plants and burrow in the stones, but he stopped doing that about 6 months ago for no real reason. Good luck with the loach, it is a great fish. Definatly my favorite in my tank.
