Moving to Houston -- Local Clubs

Hey there TPT!

Are there any Planted Enthusiast clubs in the Houston area? I'm moving to the concrete jungle next week!

most of the texas members have joined clubs on Faceboook. we have a few clubs there.

This is Texas Aquarium Hobbiest, it is a catch all for all types of Aquarium Keepers.

there is also San Antonio Aquatic Plant Club which is very active and has members from across Texas

theres plenty more but this should get you started.

Houston Fishbox encompasses the salt, reef, planted, shrimp, and monster keepers. It tends to be pretty active, check it out. Also the Greater Houston Aquarium Club (GHAC) is an active group and has some upcoming meetings and a holiday party soon.

bvreefclub.com

We are about 1.5 hours north of houston. Not exactly downtown, but near enough by. Many of our members frequently will travel to town to pick things up and what not. Stop on by and say hello. I know the site may appear it's saltwater specific but we have plenty of planted tank folks as well. Could always use more

Not sure about any clubs, but I'm close to Beltway 8 & Fairmont area :-)

I'm new to the site, and thought I'd say "hi" to all. Recently started a FW aquarium (30 g) for my daughter and I to enjoy. I've got 3 danios, while my water cycles... hope to have it set up nicely by the end of next month. In the mean time, looking for and learning a lot about aquascaping!!
