Houston area LFS?

Got back into the hobby semi-recently and most of the fish stores I liked years before are long gone. Can anyone recommend a good store other than AquaZoo in Webster? I absolutely love AquaZoo, but want to check out some other local places too.

I've been to ADG, Fish Gallery, Houston Aquatics, The Fish Bowl and More, Aqua Aquarium, Rainforest Pets, and AquaZoo. My top three would be ADG, Fish Gallery, and AquaZoo.

ADG had the best selection of hardscape at good prices. They sell a lot of high end equipment and have a good selection of fish too. It's worth going just to see their showroom of high end setups.

Fish Gallery is a big store with just a lot of everything. Tanks, equipment, hardscape, livestock, etc.

I visited AquaZoo for the first time last weekend and was impressed with their selection of fish in such a small space.

Thanks for the suggestions! I had completely forgotten about ADG. Was always a dream of mine to go before, but never got around to it. I see an aquarium store day trip in my future where I hit up several places in one day. I live out of town a bit so its still 1hr+ to any of these places.

Man ADG is the best such and inspirational store. Way more than a LFS.

Worked in the pet industry for 25 years and yeah most of the "good" mom and pop shops are gone. But found a hidden gem last month. 360 Aquatics in NW Houston, on Brittmoore at Tanner. Tiny little shop in small business park, wall to wall fish, clean tanks too. Dan (nice guy) gives 14 day warranty. Say what ? Worth the trip trust me.

I got the chance to go to Fish Gallery the other day. Pretty neat store. Big. Clean. Not as much plant variety as I expected though, instead of having 5 of this and 5 of that, etc they had 25 bundles of maybe 15 different plants. Only one moss and it looked pretty sad. Didn't buy anything but overall worth the trip. I'll be going back sometime soon for some orange Neocardinia. They had lots of colors.

I made a collection of the LFS mentioned here on Yelp. Makes it easy to see where they are in relation to each other. You can view it here.

FWIW, Houston Aquatics is moving at the end of Sept 2019 to Tidwell & 45. Also there's "That Aquarium Place" in NW Houston on the list of LFS. There's also a few other mom & pop places like Fishland (has fish but *not* plants) at Eldridge/Westheimer, Houston Aquarium Warehouse (Stafford) which, last time I was there, had tanks not in good shape.
