State College Area

Anyone in/close to the State College/Center PA area? It would be great to get in contact with other aquarists in the area.

There's a few of us in State College it seems. Though I haven't really met up with any.

There an older State College thread here as well: https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/72...ge-anyone.html

Late to the party, but I'm in the area too. I have tons of frogbit as well as some lilaeopsis brasiliensis if anyone is ever interested. I keep cherry shrimp and crystal blacks at the moment.

Hey it's great to see this thread! I just moved to the area and finally got my tanks up and running (though they have been a bit neglected the past few months due to the move). Is there a local pet store or fish store out here? I found jungle creek aquariums on google on to read further that it closed down. I have been to petco a few times, and calico creek near lock haven has a small fish room. Any other places that I might have missed?

Petco is pretty much it around here. I hadn't even heard of Calico Creek. I might have to make a visit there some time!

Yeah. My wife and I lived with her parents in lock haven during our move and its more of a farm and feed kind of place but they have some general pet items too, including a small fish room. How about north, south, or west of state college. Anywhere worth taking a road trip?
