Thumbs up Northeast Ohio

Anyone here live in NE Oh? Like the Canton, Massillon, Akron areas?
Just looking for someone local to possibly trade some things with or just to chat.

It seems like I might be as close as it gets. I'm located in Cleveland Heights. Do you have any worthwhile LFS's in your area? I've got family, actually my wifes family, in North Canton that brings me down there every once in a while.

I'm in Canton, but don't really have anything to trade at the moment. As far as LFS's go....Wet Pets Plus on Whipple is about as good as it gets around here. I head up to Aquarium Adventure and RMS Aquaculture every once in awhile also.

RMS is decent but not great as far as plants go. The nice thing is that they rotate the species of plants fairly regularly but you'll never find the rarer species. As far as trading all I have right now is some java fern.

Talk about a late reply. Anyway RMS Aquaculture has 3 stores up here. I always go to the one in willoughby a little ways off of I-90 the exit after I-271 merges into I-90 Eastbound.

Brian

I also think they have a website, just google it.

I live in Beachwood and i always go to RMS at Robinhood dr. in willoughby they have better prices then aquarium adventure, but if you want a rare plant call aquarium adventure because they special order things for people, just it wont be cheap.

Cleveland here. Aquarium Adventure is at the end of its big sale. 40% off Fish and plants and 35% off everything else. I think it ends... tomorrow? unfortunatly they are pretty much cleaned out. But I did manage to pick up 2 GBR and nice size clump of Red Wendtii for just under $22

On the trade front I'm going to have some corckscrew val here real soon its growing like mad and also some Hygro (stricta).

I'm from Canton but I go to Akron/Kent/Stow for fish & supplies. Wet Pets Plus has the best plant selection around (which isn't saying much at all), but the prices at the chains (PetsMart, PetCo) are sometimes better for the more common plants such as Hortwort or Anacharis.

rms

Yea you guys are right rms never has the same plants but u can find some nice ones there everyonce and a while. Aquarium adventure just isn't worth it most of the time so, since im just planting my 55 i am planning to get the plants from online. as long as its a large order from somewhere with good prices i think its worth it.

RAOK - If anyone is interested I have some endlers, some baby bristlenose plecos, and some cherry shrimp for PICK UP ONLY. Also, maybe some of the more common plants, if someone is starting up a tank or something. I'm now located near Aurora. PM me if interested.
