If your looking for aquarium plants check out William Tricker in Indepence, Ohio(near 480&77). They carry a wide variety of plants in their own greenhouse and are reasonably priced.

I'll have to check this place out, I'm not too far away. Thanks!

They also have a very small fish room.... RMS Aquaculture in Middleburg Heights has a large assortment of freshwater and saltwater fish.

I've been there before but it's been a while. I'd like to check out Rift Lake Aquatics too but it's out west pretty far.

Rift Lake Aquatics is just south from RMS Aquaculture on Engle Ave... less than 5 mins.

I'm noticing these are all right in the same area. I was thinking they were at 77 and 480 but they are around 71 and 480.

I've been looking for some Oto Cats for a while and can't find anyone who has them. I called all these places today and they don't have any. I'd love to try and find some Dwarf Hairgrass too.

Also the Northeast Ohio Fish Club is having their annual auction on March 19th NEOfish Auction Information | NEOfish. Good place to find plants, fish and used equipment.

Went to William Tricker yesterday, their power was out in the fish room but they only pull plants from their greenhouses so it worked out. Got 6 jungle vals, 3 large sags and a "bunch" of cabomba roughly $20

Glad it worked out well. That place has been around for a very long time....my dad went there as a kid. Too bad the fish room was down...sometimes they have stuff you normally don't see.

We have a small pet store in Ashtabula called Edgewood Pet Center. They get new inventory in on Thursday or Friday. Kind of basic fish stock and they have limited plants in pretty poor condition. Their tanks are clean, fish usually healthy and they are family owned for several generations. I go to Buzz n B's Aquarium and Pets in Erie, Pa. They have a large variety of fish, limited plants. But I usually find something I can use and their fish are always healthy. I have resorted to online buying or swapping plants from tank to tank, since mine have been growing nicely. I am low low tech. Mosses, crypts, vals, buces, anubias, etc.. Learned the hard way and spent too much money on plants before I learned what grows in my lazy tanks. lol. I can usually get my husband to take a fish trip with me every few months, so have checked out RMS awhile back. Also, went to Jurassic Pets in Mayfield but was very disappointed in their tank care. Bought a few shrimp. I guess it depends on how far you want to drive. Fish around, plants, not so much in Northeast Ohio. look in the classifieds on here. Best plants I have gotten, so far.
