Surely many of you know

$1 per gallon sale going on at petco, all varieties of 1-55g tanks. Other shops like petsmart and petland discount will match the price if it's the same item.

Petco sale is for tetra tanks btw.

Petland only sell Aqueon tanks tho.

The grass isn't always greener in the other tank.

Petco only carries Tetra tanks. If you're lucky you may find a left over Aqueon tank at one, but they won't be getting in any new Aqueons.

I thought tetra one makes small kit tanks. I don't see any glass tanks on tetra website. But I see Marineland on the tetra website. Is Marineland and Tetra same company now?

I spoke with an Aqueon rep about this a few months ago when the change occurred. Comes down to business differences between Aqueon and Petco. Just wasn't profitable for Aqueon to continue supplying tanks to Petco like they were.
