Pacific green tiger barbs

I've bought a couple of batches of green tiger barbs from pacific LFS. They been the only ones that have died or caught ich. I bought fish from them before I'm not saying anything bad about them there a wonderful place. Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems with their green tiger barbs.

ive purchased numerous things from pacific over the past year.

I do select species that match my tank parameters and i believe that may factor into the ulitmate survival. I deal with shrimp which are far more sensitive than fish...

Their fish are healthy for the most part. Though you should really quarantine fish for at least 4 weeks regardless of whether they looked healthy in the store or not.

The green tiger barbs didn't die instantly just the only one that have died in my tank. I've lost 3 since October

Sounds like you have an underlying issue in your tank. What's your parameters. Also, any symptoms before the tiger barbs passed?

Your params sound right. The fish wouldn't have died unless they were afflicted by something.

I'm guessing I just got a bad batch just unlucky or something.

I've bought fish from them had harlequin rasboras from them that I had to give away made a rookie mistake trying to keep them with the barbs.

I was just wondering if anyone else had experience with the green tiger barbs from there. I love the store no disrespect to them can't find anything bad to say about the store.

Half the harlequins I've ever bought from them have died. They have a huge turnover for livestock so stress on the fish is high and there's no quarantining. Depends on who you ask, but they'll usually tell you if the fish are sick.
