Anyone ever been to the Riverhead Aquarium?

Kinda curious the general consensus you guys have on it. I'm going on a tour of the place on the 9th and seeing what their behind the scenes kinda stuff is like.

I'll share pics when I get them :P

I've been there, wandered around with my girlfriend about 2 years ago?

Interesting feeding area in the front with rays.
Price isn't to terrible, probably could do everything in 3 hours or so. Behind the stage might be interesting. I was invited backstage at the Bronx Zoo and saw a number of animals you normally wouldn't see every day.

Nice outside area with Penguins and Otters to look at, and they put a show on with sealions if I remember correctly.

Have a great time!

What'd the Bronx zoo have behind the scenes? And how'd you get invited to that?

Through a vet tech program.
Walking tour of facility.
Even got up to the 2nd floor in the reptile house.
There was big news regarding a cobra on the loose a few years ago.
Was in the same area that houses the most venomous snakes. Still not sure how the darn thing would have gotten out as you need to walk through two cages/closing doors to access the location.

Above exhibits there is a second floor that houses many animals you'd never be able to see.

Have been up to the Boston Aquarium, behind the scenes they were doing rescue of a baby harbor seal I think. Cute little guy but I hear they're mean. We have them hanging out east on Long Island around Orient Point and the islands.

You'll have fun, don't forget to bring a camera with you.

They have some tasty looking snow crabs there. I wanted to bring them home to eat.
