Free tanks

So the high school that I worked at got alot of old tanks that they want to get rid of. If anyone of you are interested, please let me know. It is for local pick up only at 10 ave w 56 st Manhattan. If you give me a dimension of what you are interested, I will look in to it and get back to you. But you must have a car.

Will post a picture tomorrow with the closet full of them.

Update:

Guys please post here the dimension you are looking for not gallon. I can't tell by gallon since they are not label. I will find out tomorrow. I think there is like 20+ tanks in there so I really have to look in to it.
Pick up are only available during weekdays.

for those that want to give back something, I am looking for some Elatine triandra so if anyone have some, I can take a few.

update:
I dont need any Elatine triandra and wondering if anyone got Staurogyne repens?

I will go by the list to keep the priorities. Please post here and not PM me for any tank that you are interested. The time frame can only be from 8 AM to 3 PM and you must let me know when you are coming. Nothing is set until I get the list of what we got in school tomorrow.

Updates:

So here is the picture and here is the dimension.

36 x 12 x 16 Acitydweller
30 x 12 x 12 eeng168
48 x 12 x 18 Acitydweller
48 x 18 x 24
30 x 12 x 18 (2) eeng168(1)
18 x 10 x 18
23 x 12 x 12
20 x 10 x 12 (3) acitydweller (1) Sonicpath(1)
16 x 8 x 10 Sonicpath
13 x 8 x 6 (4) Nano tank but I might take 2. Sonicpath (1)
24 x 12 x 16 (2)

There are more that is hiding but I don't want to go to deep in to this area. LOL

There are alot stands that is rusted and need some good cleaning. I am not sure if it will fit the tank you looking for. I can check if you want. For those that are asking about the condition, they are used tank and they are free. I am not sure what else you can ask about.

For the one that ask about a reptile tank. Yes we have one that is for reptile. We also have bird cages , hamster cages. We also got some hood for the tank. There are filters, but they are very dirty. If you have the energy to clean it feel free to grab one when you are here. It is free so what is your lost? LOL

Here is the list that I got, from the people that first PM me before the post and the people that reply to the post. I will give a first priority to the one that came out during the NJ tour since I mention it to them first.

NJ Tour

Albert
Sonicpath
MeowKitty
Viva
J (what is your user name?)
Ed (what is your user name?)
Xev11
Jellie (even though you didn't join us but since you want a tank for a school purpose you can go on the list)

Post and PM list (only the one that replied with their dimension)

Thank you all for your interest. I will need to get a confirmation from the Principal first so you guys can come and pick it up. We are planning to throw them away anyway, So I don't see a problem with giving it up to someone. For those on the list please reply once again with your interest size. Pick up are available only starting next week!!! Unless I get a confirmation from the Principal today.

NO PM Please. and I do check the post so don't worry.

Thanks!

Crap I forgot to mention in the pm and I didn't want to keep spamming you with messages but I would love some 10 gals, 5 or even 2.5. A 20 gal breeder would be awesome

EDIT:

13 x 6 x 8
17 x 9 x 11
30 x 13 x 13
36 x 18 x 17 all in inches. Any of these would be much much appreciated

Thanks

Im looking for small tanks. The typical 2.5G is 12 3/16 x 6 1/8 x 8 1/8
A plastic 3G can be 14.6 x 8.8 x 11.2 inches
Anything small works for me.
Thanks

Small tanks for me too. I'm in the Bronx and have a pickup truck. Looking for small tanks but will take any that are free or nobody wants. that goes for equipment too if there is any.

I would be looking for any of the following (on the super slim chance that such a large tank is available without someone charging an arm and a kidney for it):

75 gallon: 48"x18"x21"
90 gallon: 48"x18"x25"
Any of the 72" long ones (they're 100-180 gallon but at that point, it doesn't matter to me exactly how big)

May have to coordinate a little, as it would be a friend's car and not mine (and I'm not available during the possible times, but she might be).

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this and find out what's available!
