My First Planted Tank...

So... After 20 years of keeping reef tanks I decided to start my first planted tank. (A friend has some AMAZING tanks, which inspired me)

I posted some new photos earlier this evening of my tank. Any aquascaping suggestions? The java moss is not attached yet, plus, I think I have WAY too much of it. My friend is coming by on Thursday to help me tie it down where it should go...

Photos can be found at the end of my tank journal thread:

I never imagined I would be able to say that I have done anything (besides eating, breathing, sleeping, etc.) for 20+ years... I feel real old just typing that!

Thanks,

Alfred

I think you tank looks great. I agree with VivaDaWolf, if the to outside pieces of wood were moved out just a smidge. I keep looking in the middle of the tank, but I love it.
I was out of the hobby for 30+ years don't feel bad
However it is amazing when I first got back in the hobby how things changed..for the better.

Yes, things have changed. I still have two reef tanks and things changed A LOT from when I had my first salt water tank to when I got my first reef set up. Same with Fresh Water. CO2, lighting and substrate are major areas that have changed 100% in the past twenty years.

I will move both pieces of wood (it is actually three pieces) I liked the idea of a "window" to the grass in the back. I will also be planting glosso in between and in front of the drift wood. Thoughts?

I attached half of the java moss to one of the rocks, I just did not have the heart to do it to one of the beautiful pieces of wood. (I left the nana petite on the wood)

I am expecting glosso in on Monday, I will space out the wood a little better then and will plant to glosso between the wood and in front of it.
