My shrimp had babies!

*runs around in circles squealing*

I tried to take a picture, but it's a tiny speck in the middle of a blurry tank.

Eeeeeee! BABY SHRIMP! I only saw two. They seem to be eating biofilm. I hope there's enough for them.

Also, it turns out that the shrimp do like my homemade gel food! Four of them were munching away at it.

They are like roaches, weill kind of. For every one you see there are at least a few more. As long as the tank is over a month old there should be enough food.

Thanks! I was really surprised to see them so soon; I think it's only been three weeks since I got the adults, and I haven't exactly done anything special with them.

One of the shrimp has gone from clear to red speckles to blazing solid red. Weirdness abounds.

We rule the nite! Muhahahhaha did u want an green air algae starter? I have some, a healthy portion in my shrimp bowl which my orange and yellows preen all day long. I purposely leave it on my prefilter because they do enjoy it so and I hardly feed that tank. Lmk.

These are the wild type neos from Win. The adults seem to be mostly speckled brown, except for the one red shrimp. The smaller ones are clear. They're getting bolder, so I get to see more of them!

And yes, I'm trying to grow algae in a brackish nano, for Monster Fish's opae ula. I probably need to get more light in there, actually. My goldfish tank has a nice crop growing on the glass, but I haven't been successful in transferring it anywhere else. The neo tank hasn't been set up that long, but I think the duckweed explosion is starving out algae for the moment.

Nnnnnot really? I've always gone by kaie online. This was just the variation that stuck.

Also, my brackish tank is not ready - totally uncycled. Grrr.
