B > 2 or 3 male RCS

Since my betta finally got over his shrimp assassinationitis, I have 3 shrimps left from the original ten. and probably very unconincidentally all female...
Does anyone have any males they're willing to part with at about $2 or less each? I'm in Woodside queens and can meet up in Manhattan (midtown and below or Queens along the 7 or R,M,E,F line...
Or... has anyone tried to bargain with Win aquarium's owner to sell them less shrimp at the bulk price?

you wont get bulk price unless you are buying large quantities like a 100.

win is nearly sold out of his wild neos which go for $1.50. better snatch up what's left before their gone.

They sell $2.50 per fire reds or $20 for 10 shrimps I think. I'm sure you can try to bargain with them perhaps...the elderly man (and his wife) are both very nice people.

Do you know where he gets them from? I was too afraid to ask, but I was wondering if they just breed in his tanks or if they're collected from somewhere.

WIN told me they were given to him and he sort of let them do their thing. There were also some pretty clear ones in the plant and endler tanks and some funky tiger striped ones in the cray tank.

Most have sold but there were some earlier this week from what i can see. I have to go down there again soon to get a Aquaclear 50 sponge so i can confirm then... Also eyeing the Deepblue betta tanks but concerned about circulation within the partitions. I'm also going to gift some plants to WIN which goes a long way towards building relations. This likely will be after our November meet since i need to make sure to cover our forum members first.

If you want massive filtration, how about poret sponges? That'd double as Mattenfilter as well as partition, lol.

And you could run an airline into the center of them for bubbling partition filter?
