MY Fish Wishlist

Coming from the meet, it seems we have an appreciation for small nano sized breeds.

Ed will be visiting a friend to see what they have available and wondered if you'd like to add to his watchlist to keep an eye out for. If there are other small fish of interest, feel free to post along with a pic.

Nannostomus mortenthaleri (Coral Red Pencilfish) more info herehttp://www.seriouslyfish.com/species...mortenthaleri/

Tanicthys micagemmae 1.2"/3cm more info here:http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species...ys-micagemmae/

Long finned White Cloud minnows http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species...hys-albonubes/

Corydoras pygmaeus (Pygmy Cory) http://www.seriouslyfish.com/species...oras-pygmaeus/

All of these are small peaceful fish that do great in acidic waters.

Personally, i prefer nonaggressive micro fish that can be compatible with dwarf shrimp so these totally fit the bill. I encourage everyone to share what their likes are and maybe we can piece together a list for Ed to inquire

I will monitor this thread, put a list together and I will ask and see if he can get this stuff before we consider going for a visit.

He supplies stores in NYC, so I can only assume that he can get your typical tropical fish. But, I've never really paid much attention or look for other fishes. Don't laugh, but I didn't even know what a CPD was until after the meet, LOL

I usually go up to buy large quantities of ornamental goldfishes, kois, cardinal tetras, black neons, ottos, and red parrots.

I'm down for CPDs or the Red Pencilfish, 6-8 of either.

I'd agree that it's actually just a "field trip" to a LFS. We should probably change the main title...

Augh stop tempting me!! Although if my shrimp don't live, the 20L will be empty.... well, I can only find five shrimp or so. (So far, one is red, one is brown, one is blue, and there are a couple of smaller clear ones ... I think the blue one might be berried, but it's very hard to tell.)
