What kind of shrimp are you looking for? I haven't been to any lfs in Queens lately - been too busy. I originally ordered a dozen Red Cherry Shrimp from a seller on this forum and they've done fine in my tanks. Rainbow Aquarium and Kissena Aquarium in Flushing were carrying shrimp the last time I was there. Fishtown-USA also have shipments-call them first.

Royal Aqua World in Brooklyn's Chinatown (I forget the exact address, could be 65th street) has some nice Amano shrimp for $2 each. Win Aquarium on Mott street in the Chinatown of Manhattan usually has some good cherries for $1 and sakura shrimp for $2, but I've heard that they're not available at the moment.

I have Red Cherry Shrimp. The 3 that I bought from Pacific a few months ago gave birth a while back and I recently found about 30 little ones in my eheim canister filter when I cleaned it a few weeks ago. If your amano's reproduce and you're interested in trading some of them for RCS let me know. Oh yea the trade of an endler pair for a few Amano Shrimp still stands as per my WTT local thread! The only person to take me up on my WTT thread now has 2 adults and about 14ish fry assuming they didn't get eaten.

Cheers!
