WTT in NYC, I have endlers, I need Amano shrimp or SAE

Meh it's too cold for me to feel comfortable transporting fish and I don't think I want anymore plants in my tank b/c it's about to explode from the randomness in it XD

Anyone local interested in trading a bunch of endler guppies? I'm not a big fan of mail order fish and I'm close to the subway/buses.

I'm looking for Amano shrimp and Siamese Algae eaters. These guppies are very healthy, the females are about to burst AGAIN and are prolific breeders. I have plenty of fry and it takes about 17 days for them to start getting their color. They look really nice about 1-2 weeks after the color starts coming in and from what I read about 6 months until full coloration but none of mine are over 3 months of age!

Here is a gallery of some pics I took of the nice males.

If you can't find anyone to trade with, I believe I saw SAE's at Pacific yesterday (theres a link somewhere to distinguish the true SAE). Amanos can be bought at Petco (i know they do have them in stock currently at the union square one for about $2.49 or so). I believe its rare for shrimps to pass diseases onto fish so it shouldn't be too bad buying amanos from them. I've bought 4 and only lost 1 but I believe it was my fault.

Just out of curiosity, where are you in Queens Oog? I'm going out to LI this weekend and wouldn't mind picking up some SAE if I see any.

Thanks for the info KShoes. I found a place in Brooklyn that sells amano and SAE for $2 a piece. I guess that won't break the bank but I was really looking to get rid of some of my endlers bc my tank is becoming over run with them while at the same time getting something useful in return.Wicket_Life i sent you a PM.

Anyone local to Queens NYC willing to trade for an exchange for a golfball of moss or a 2"x2" patch of Dwarf Hairgrass in exchange for some juvenile endlers?

I'd like to eventually get my hands on:

Dwarf Hairgrass - Eleocharis acicularis - traded someone an endler pair for some hairgrass nodes, Thanks!
Downoi - Pogostemon helferi

a Golfball of
Flame Moss - Taxiphyllum sp. - heh gave up and just ordered some =/
Weeping Moss - Vesicularia ferriei
Phoenix Moss - Fissidens fontanus
Erect Moss - Vesicularia reticulata
Riccia Fluitans

I'm basically looking for some interesting looking small growing foreground plants/mosses that I could use to grow out and scape a 30g tank that I'm going to try and use excusively for Celestial Pearl Danios breeding. Ideally I'd like to get the tank to look like a tiny forest with very delicate looking plants. If you are interested in some endlers and have something not listed PM or post here and let me know and maybe we can work out a trade! I'm not looking to buy anything, just trade and I can deliver or you can pickup. Thanks!

edit: I already have

brazillian pennywort
Ceratophyllum demersum - coontail
Hemianthus callitrichoides - Dwarf Baby Tears
Micranthemum umbrosum - Baby Tears
Brazilian Elodea - Anachris
Anubias minima
Hydrocotyle leucocephala - Brazilian Pennywort
Bacopa monnieri - Water Hyssop
Ceratopteris thalictroides - Water Sprite, Indian Fern
Hygrophila difformis - Water Wisteria
Lemna minor - Lesser Duckweed
Vesicularia dubyana - Java Moss

Those endlers are gorgeous! I've never seen any that nice before. If you ever decide to sell and would be willing to ship I'd totally buy some off of you.

Tank: 20 gallons, 62 watts t5, DIY CO2

Unemployed, poor, and still living off the parents.

Nice colors on his male endler and is a nice plump female.
Trade up your plants for his endler's. You won't regret it.

I'll be waiting for that CPD of yours to keep some of my CPD's company.

Interesting SAE for $2, hope it is the real deal, don't forget about the black spot on the belly.

The plump female he gave me is not just plump but pregnant.
I just got home today and saw about 14 little fishies and it seems mama is still at it.
Thanks for the instant colony. (I just hope all the babies make it to maturity)

Lol I haven't seen an endler eat a baby yet and my females are a little less than double the size of the young one that I gave to you! When the big females finally pop it's like an explosion of a new generation. Too bad I don't have room for a 3rd tank so that I can seperate my females from my males for a while so that the baby madness will stop!

Oh and thanks for the interest Gordon but I'm going to have to graciously decline but feel free to post some pics of yours in case I have a lapse of reasoning and decide to hit you up in the future . Guppies are taking over my tank!

Oh, and I finally got tired of waiting and ordered some flame moss from a member in the swap and shop forums so that is now off my list.
