Looking for...

Would like to get about 12-15 galaxy rasbora aka celestial pearl danio aka whatever you want to call them and some Epiplatys annulatus aka clown killie fish. Any ideas or suggestions? Would rather NOT have to order online.

I stop in at Pacific Aquarium about once a month and have seen the galaxys there on more than a handful of occasions

CPDs are hard to come by locally as they're not in season right now. I would speak to the owner of Pacific, but he's basically told me the same thing

In recent months/years captive bred CPDs have become more and more available. I'd be very surprised if the owner doesn't have a source for them year round

92% of all statistics are made up on the spot.

Pacific doesn't have any, Petco has one female. Spoke to a guy, he said he'll try and order some for Thurs. Called a LFS in Bklyn but they don't have any either. I'll speak to the owner at Pacific and see if he can order me some if Petco doesn't get any.

Hey Wizard - let me know if you find CPDs. I'd love to get some too.

Petco did get some in on Thurs, I seen them on Fri. When I went to get some on Sat, they had two left and I seen about 6 dead ones stuck to the filter. You would think a multi million dollar company would invest in better management of there aquatics department. On top of that the majority of there tanks (fresh and marine) are "under observation"

Petco does have some for around $3.49, I purchased 6 and 3 died. They've been in my QT tank, I knew I was taking a chance when purchasing them. I also stopped by 123 Aquarium and she has about 8 or so and they are $6 each but look much healthier. I may pick up a few on Thurs.
