CPDs

Anyone know anywhere in Sussex/Morris County that sells celestial pearl danios at a decent price... Or any price? Lol. Also looking for a good place to purchase plants and a few male GBRs.

Thanks!

Everyone does fine at 79! Haha. I didn't realize they're colder water. I think they'd be alright though.

Everything I've read says rams will do 78-85 and cpds will do 72-79.

It's your tank.. I'm just passing on info I've gathered from first hand experience. Another thing to consider.. cpds can be rather skittish, in a large heavily planted tank with gbrs cruising you may not see them all that much.

I appreciate the first hand experience as they're quite pricey. Maybe I'll reconsider. My GBRs I have are already super skittish... I wouldn't see any of my fish haha!

I have the cpds by themselves in a 5.5, they're doing great, alway out and about. Gbrs have the 20, they are super social, always glass surfing for food.. one tank is 76 and the gbrs are 81. Rummy nosed tetras and trilineus corys don't mind the heat. I keep.multiple tanks because I like all types of fish. Can't always have your cake and eat it too

Yeah this will be my third tank. Maybe I'll go with rummys although I was looking for a contrast to the already red/orange school of harlequins

I think I saw some at Adam's Pet Safari in Chester a few months back, you could give it a try there. There's also a few plants on sale and some GBRs.

My post was lazy. What I meant to ask was if the above person was buying CPDs or the other fish mentioned for $3.50. That'd be a very nice price. In my area CPDs are going for $5-7 each. That's a very expensive little fish....
