Need CO2 refill

Looking for a place, ideally in Central NJ, that refills --not exchanges-- CO2 tanks. I'm in Monmouth, zip 07747, for reference.

Even though it's exchange, I recommend AirGas. They don't charge a hydrotesting fee if the tank has their stickers on it. They take care of their own tanks.

What is the reasonable cost for exchanging a 5lb tank and 10lb tank.

I thing 5 lb is more common?

I have local supplier which is asking $20 for a 5lb tank, I don't own one but looking my options to refill before jump in. I am at Bergen County.

I'm not in your area and can't be of help but I do want to throw out some praise for your methods of looking at the TOTAL picture before jumping in. Prices vary a whole bunch and it is not at all practical to buy things that you can't maintain in reasonable distance.

My local place does $15 for a 5# tank, but it's refill, not exchange. I'm not sure of that process unfortunately.

I am running 2 DIY CO2, and now I am convinced its cheaper than a CO2 tank.

Bump: The posted the same in FB and came to know that the average cost of 1LB CO2 is around $1.25(different states)
$20 for 5# its savage.

New Brunswick is the location, Reliable Cabonics as mentioned above. I didn't say it cause you're in Bergen so it's a bit of a hike for you to get CO2.

I believe refills are more better than replacing a tank

Definitely especially if you start with a brand new tank.
