Hi folks!
Last weekend I setup a new, small paludarium. Inspired by a video from Exotic Aquatic I found on the web 3 weeks ago, I just wanted to try something with a bonsai, a bonsaiscape.
I used a 35l tank for this layout, size is lxdxh 40x32x28cm. Hardscape is black lava, ground is normal white sand. The root ball of the bonsai was planted in soil. The lighting is 8W LED. In the middle of the hardscape is a little stream that is driven by a pump with 150l/h. The pump is hidden under the hardscape. There are just native plants, such as mosses and clover, some Fissidens fontanus, Riccardia spec. and the Bonsai. This paludarium is a test tank, low-tech and low maintenance. I wonder how it will develop in the next weeks.
Hope you like it
