While I was setting up a new aquarium, the process got a little chaotic to say the least and I've disturbed my substrate multiple times in the aquarium. This is my first time using ADA substrate and I'm not sure if the stuff that is getting disturbed into the water column is something beneficial that I'm losing or not. Am I fine or should I start over with a new bag? This is my first time going for a very nice-looking rimless tank, so if I'm losing something beneficial in my substrate I'd rather start over.
You are fine. It might get alittle cloudy when disturbing the aquasoil but even if it goes into the water-column, it will still be absorbed by plants. As long as you didn't crush the baked soil pellets, it will work just like intended.
Yah u are fine as long as you don't completely crush the pellets. Are you using power sand too ?? If so try and be careful that the substrate doesn't get disturbed to an extent that the power sand comes on top of the AS.
