Free Water Sprite and Penny Wort

I did a major trimming of my 75 gallon yesterday and I have all these water sprite offspring from 1" to 6" in height that I don't have room for. I also have a little bit of floating penny wort. Theres probably enough water sprite to fill a 20 gallon tank. Water Sprite are great low maintenance water ferns that are easy to grow and are great for beginners with a low tech tank. Add the right light and some dry fertilizers and these things grow like crazy helping to keep algae subdued.

Pickup only in Worcester. reply or PM me for more info. I want these gone as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Plant heavily, fertilize well, stock lightly, change water weekly, and most importantly do not use too much light.

I guess I'll hold onto it for a little longer and then it goes down the toilet.

I'm in Worcester MA, is that anywhere near you where you could pick these up? I wouldn't even know how to ship these and really don't want to go through the hassle.

Thanks

Have another round of water sprite and water wisteria if interested. Also have floating penny wort and frog bite.

If you still have any trimmings, I'd be interested in any of these plants...
ETA: I'm generally in the Worcester area M-F most weeks...

Well, I flushed the original trimmings down the toilet but I just did a minor one and have some to give away. I will hold on to them by the end of the week and check here for a reply.

You could always bring them to the PVAS meeting and someone will always be willing to take them off your hands! Our next meeting is tonight: Pioneer Valley Aquarium Society » General Meetings (P.S. even though it's the holiday party, anyone is still welcome and shouldn't feel obligated to bring a dish or present for the gift exchange)

I just had about 6 Water Sprite offspring that were 6" tall last week but I do have a ton of duckweed still available, which is a floating plant if you're interested. Probably will have another run available by the new year. I could probably offer some Penny wort too to be used as either floating or planted.

I'm pretty new to this. Will these do well in a 10 gallon aquarium with low lighting, or do they need specialty lights?

Thanks!
