Banned plants?

Where is the MA banned/illegal plant list? Lfs gave me a sprig of some plant with some red cherry shrimp I bought and when I got home it had what looked like runners so I planted it. Asked the next time I was in and didn't really get a response just something about illegal in MA. So now of course I am curious what it is and what is banned in MA.

Thanks. I am pretty sure it is this https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/my...s_Egeria_densa which is listed as prohibited on the list.

Almost all of these are illegal to transport across state lines. They are okay to keep at home, or trade with others. Don't ever release them outside or mail them out of state and you will be okay.

Well, that's not really true. It is illegal to own, buy, or sell. It's not really enforced because a lot of fish stores will carry them.

On another note, I was told by an LFS that white cloud mountain minnows are an illegal invasive in MA but I see LFSs sell them in Boston.

Well I have plenty of the white clouds as well in my tank and the LFS had a whole tank dedicated to just them.

On a side note, I am not sure if I do have Brazilian Elodea (Egeria densa) or if I have Hydrilla verticillata instead. I'll have to check more closely and post a pic in the plant section. Regardless, both are on the list.
