Cardinal tetra

Added a bunch of cardinal tetras to my 55 today. Found some really nice ones at Pets Pets Pets in Westford if anyone is looking. They also have a bunch of other cool fish.

They're all active and eating. They really have vibrant colors.

pH of water is 6.8, and tank has an eheim 2215 and fluval 205. not sure what the gph of those are, but all the cardinals are doing well.

I have wild caught ones, 10 of them or so are now 4 years old. Surpassed my expectations for sure. I'm not a big fan of PH adjustments/swings. My PH is at 7.2/7.4 from Braintree tap, though I'm considering using my ro/di, and remineralizing as a experiment as I've never done that with them. They like shaded areas, and choice of flow areas, low to mid level, and obviously larger the groups the better. I keep 20 of them with another 12 coming, 10 rummey nose tetras, 6 neon tetras, 2 black tetras, 2 serpae tetras, 20 peppered coreys in a 40g breeder with a sunsun 303B, and Hot mag 250. 74f. 10 gallon water change every other day...I'm also hoping to add 12 celestial pearl danios soon. Anyone interested in a group order?

I'm not into the image, but into the hobby...
